Who is the new Mario voice actor in Super Mario Bros Wonder?
The new voice actor of Mario in Super Mario Bros Wonder confirmed.
In August, Nintendo revealed that Charles Martinet, the voice actor of Mario (and other characters in the franchise) would step down from his role as the Italian plumber. Nintendo followed up a few weeks later with a video where Charles Martinet and the franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto talked about Martinet’s new role as a Mario ambassador.
Since then, fans have speculated widely about who would be the new voice of Mario in the upcoming games, including Super Mario Bros Wonder, which releases October 20th.
Super Mario Bros Wonder, just like any other big game title, got leaked online, one week before its official launch date. People started to data mine the game files to find out who the new voice actor was, but the data miners could still not confirm who the voice actor was.

Kevin Afghani, One of the names that actually came up from the data mine, has now confirmed via X (former Twitter) that he is the new voice of Mario in Super Mario Bros Wonder.
Incredibly proud to have voiced Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Thanks to Nintendo for inviting me into the Flower Kingdom!

In addition, Afghani also seems to be the new voice of Luigi, and according to the data mines, he is also the voices of the talking flowers you encounter in the game.
