W4 – Sunbaked Desert – All Wonder Flowers
Sunbaked Desert can be reached once you’ve completed Shining Falls and Jewel-Block Cave in Petal Isles. This area contains 36 Wonder Seeds in total. This is all the Wonder Flowers in W4 – Sunbaked Desert:
Armads on the Roll – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Armads on the Roll is located about 3/4 of the course. To spawn the Wonder Flower, grab a yellow magic flower next to a Pokey. Jump down into the sand to reach the flower.
The Wonder Effect will cause the time to speed up. Keep going to the right and you will see the Wonder Seed on top of a ledge. Dodge some Pokeys and get up a ramp a bit left of the Wonder Seed to get up there.
The Desert Mystery – Wonder Flower location
Near the end of The Desert Mystery, you will see a handle on a pillar above a pyramid. Pull the handle to spawn the Wonder Flower.
In this Wonder Effect, you will need to chase the Wonder Seed. First, follow it down a ledge, then pull a handle to pull up a ramp that leads into a pyramid. Jump down the pyramid, fall down the booby trap, and pull some handles to raise some platforms and the Wonder Seed will be waiting for you inside the central chamber.
Be aware of that the last pair of platforms will first be lowered when pulling the handle and then go up again once you’ve let go.
Rolling-Ball Hall – Wonder Flower location
In Rolling-Ball Hall the Wonder Flower can be found right past the midway checkpoint. To reach it however, you need to keep going past it and up some brick-blocks and up a ledge, then follow the coins back to the Wonder Flower.
Some giant rolling spike-balls will chase you. Take cover from the spike-balls inside tight spaces and collect 5 Wonder tokens to gain your Wonder Seed at the other end of a warp pipe.
Ninji Jump Party – Wonder Flower location
Ninji Jump Party is a rhythm-based course. Jump in rhythm to the music to progress through the course. The Wonder Flower can only be spawned by reaching a high-floating magic flower. To reach it, jump in time to the beat and two floating platforms will appear.
To get the Wonder Seed, collect 5 Wonder Tokens. Remember to jump to the rhythm and all the necessary platforms will rise up.
Bloomps of the Desert Skies – Wonder Flower location
In Bloomps of the Desert Skies you will find the Wonder Flower inside a green Bloomp falling down. Pop him to gain the Wonder Flower.
The Wonder Effect will transform you into a balloon. Press the jump button to make your way up to the Wonder Seed. Dodge obstacles and enemies on your way.
Valley full of Snootles – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Valley full of Snootles is inside a question block. Hit it with a jump to make it spawn.
The Wonder Effect will make the time slow down. Keep going to the right and then up some platforms. You will see the Wonder Seed floating above some tilted ledges.
Color-Switch Dungeon – Wonder Flower location
In the Color-Switch Dungeon you need a key to unlock a door to the Wonder Flower. Make your way to a color switch with some colored platforms underneath. Strike the block so that it says “OFF”. Fall down the hole. You will see the door at the bottom of the pit. Go left and you will see a red key. Grab the key and make your way back to the door. Make sure to hit the color-switch-block so that it turns red. It needs to be red in order to go trough the door.
On the other side of the door, make the color-switch-block say “OFF” and jump down the pit.
The room down there will be very dark, so make use of the light from the spark-enemies to see the color-switches. Hit the switch so that is says “OFF” and the path to the Wonder Flower will be revealed. To reach the Wonder Flower however you need to hit another color-switch so that is says “OFF” again.
Jump up to the top platforms. Hold the dash button to run to the left over the gaps and you will reach the Wonder Flower.
A ghost-copy of your character will appear. Keep running to the right of the course while staying away from the ghost or he will damage you. Hit some color-switches on your way to open the path to the Wonder Seed.
Secrets of Shova Mansion – Wonder Flower location
Make your way to the checkpoint-flag and keep going right. Push the pink block so that it falls down next to the other blocks. Keep going right and do the same thing to the next block. A Door will appear. Get in the door and you can collect the Wonder Flower.
In this Wonder Effect, you need to push the right wall to clear the path and not get squished by the giant Bowser-statue. Keep pushing all the obstacles in your way to the right. At the end you will need to push three giant blocks at the same time to access the Wonder Seed.
Flight of the Bloomps – Wonder Flower location
In Flight of the Bloomps, once you’ve got the mid-checkpoint-flag, jump up into the clouds above the flag and you will encounter a green Bloomp carrying a Wonder Flower. Pop him to collect it.
Some giant Bloomps will appear. Ride them by continuously jumping on them in the middle without falling off. Ride them up above the clouds and you will get the Wonder Seed.
Sunbaked Desert Palace – Wonder Flower location
In Sunbaked Desert Palace, once you’ve reached the mid-checkpoint, jump up the platforms between the two silver warp-pipes. At the top you will see a handle. Grab it and pull it to spawn a Wonder Flower.
The Wonder Effect will keep shifting between slowed-down time and speed-up time. Keep going to the right while dodging the enemies and obstacles and you will find the Wonder Seed at the top of a platform.
