Petal Isles – All Wonder Flowers
This part of the guide will cover all Wonder Flowers in the Petal Isle’s. The Petal Isles is the central region of the Flower Kingdom and the majority of courses in this location can only be accessed by completing some of the other locations in the game first.

Petal Isle’s Part 1
Leaping Smackerel – Wonder Flower location
To find the Wonder Flower on this course, make your way to the mid-checkpoint flag. Above it, you will see a wide Question Block. Swim up to hit it. The Wonder Flower will pop out of the block. Collect it to start the Wonder Effect.
A big fish with large teeth will appear. The Fish will dig itself down into the ground and follow your movement. Once he is locked into you he will leap out of the ground to try and eat you. If he hits anything with his teeth, all the blocks in that area will crumble, including ground/soil-blocks. Use this to your advantage.
The Wonder Seed will appear once you’ve collected all the Wonder Tokens. Some Wonder Tokens are trapped inside pockets of soil. Use the giant fish’s attack to open a path to the tokens.
Robbird Cove – Wonder Flower location
In Robbird Cove, make your way to a magic flower hovering over a platform with water underneath it.
Touch it to activate it. A red ball of light will move down under the hovering platform and spawn a new small flower.
Touch it and follow the red ball of light once again under the water. Repeat until a Wonder Flower spawns.
The Wonder Effect will cause the water to become air and the air to become water, making the water stick to the ceiling of the course. Make your way through the course and you will find the Wonder Seed near the end of the course.
Blewbird Roost – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Blewbird Roost is located a little bit more than halfway through the course between two Blewbirds. The ground will radiate in a golden light. Use a stomp attack on the light to make the Wonder Flower appear.
The Wonder effect will cause large bubbles to rise up. Ride the bubbles up to the top and you will find the Wonder Seed. Be aware of the enemies on your way up though. This event is timed.
Petal Isles – Part 2
The second part of Petal Isles can only be reached once you’ve completed W2 Fluff-Puff Peaks.
Downpour Uproar – Wonder Flower location
In Downpour Uproar, once you’ve swum your way up to the checkpoint flag on top of the grey clouds, the Wonder Flower will be above the checkpoint flag. Jump on top of the music blocks to reach it.
The Wonder Effect will pull you up into the sky and into a thunderstorm. Press the jump button to gain height while you dodge the thunderstrikes and enemies floating around. Survive the whole event to gain your Wonder Seed.
Petal Isles – Part 3
The third part of Petal Isles can only be reached once you’ve completed W3 Shining Falls.
Jewel-Block Cave – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Jewel-Block Cove is located near the very end of the course. Break some jewel blocks to grab it.
To get the Wonder Seed, make your way downward through the jewel blocks while avoiding the giant enemies attack.
The Wonder Seed will be located at the very bottom inside a big jewel block. Use the Drill-powerup to reach the Wonder Seed without having to break all the blocks.
Petal Isles Flying Battleship – Wonder Flower location
Petal Isles Flying Battleship is very similar to all other Battleship courses but in this one, you travel most part of the course in a floating cloud. You will find the Wonder Flower buried beneath a bunch of crates. Break the crates, with for example a ground-pound attack, to reach the Wonder Flower.
Like the other Battleships, the Wonder Effect will have you dodge explosives. Survive until the end of the course and you will be rewarded with a Wonder Seed.
Gnawsher Lair – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Gnawsher Lair is inside a question block on top of a small hill next to the checkpoint flag. The question block will glow like a Wonder Flower, but hurry up and hit it, or a Gnawsher will come in from the right and break the block. If you’re not fast enough and the Gnawsher destroys the block, you can just restart from the checkpoint by dying.
After picking up the flower, a swarm of Gnawshers will come in from left of the screen. Continue moving right to escape the swarm. Use the Power Blocks to stun the Gnawshers for a moment.
Maw-Maw Mouthful – Wonder Flower location
To find the Wonder Flower in Maw-Maw Mouthful, defeat the Maw-Maw on the moving platform to the right of the checkpoint flag. Take the platform down and jump off to the left. There will be spikes on the floor. To get to the other side, jump aboard the moving platform with the talking flower and wait for it to reach the other side. On the other side, you will find a handle. Grab the handle and pull it until the Wonder Flower spawns.
In this Wonder Effect, you will become a Goomba. As a Goomba, you will not be able to jump, but you can however walk over spikes and hide behind bushes. Be aware of the Maw-Maw’s though, if they do spot you they will charge at you and eat you.
Continue to the right. Avoid all Maw-Maw’s by hiding behind the bushes. When you get to the Wonder Seed, continue to the right while avoiding the Maw-Maws and walk off the ledge down from the platform onto the elevator. Use the floating elevators the reach the Wonder Seed.
Muncher Fields – Wonder Flower location
About halfway through Muncher Fields you can see a talking flower trapped under a platform. Continue to the right and you can see a wide question block.
Use a ground pound attack to open it. A star will fall out and start move to the left. Follow it and jump down the ledge at the right moment to catch it and become invincible.
Now you can move harmlessly through the Munchers and make your way to the talking flower to the left.
Use a ground pound attack on the talking flower to trigger the Wonder Effect.
The Wonder Effect will make some of the platforms come to life. Use the movements of the platforms to traverse over the Munchers. You can control the platforms by making their eyes point in the direction you want to go in. They will always look in your direction and try to walk to you.
Once you get to a living platform with a talking flower on top of it, stand on it and it will rise up.
You will end up in the background of the course. Ride the platform to the right until you see a Power Block. Grab the Power Block and continue riding the platform until you see a bunch of Munchers blocking your path. Toss the Power Block on, or below, the Munchers and you will knock them out.
Dodge to squeeze through the tight space and collect the Wonder Seed.
Petal Isle’s – Part 4
To get to this part of Petal Isle’s you will have to collect all Royal Seeds. The Royal Seeds is gained by progressing the main story.
Missile Meg Mayhem – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Missile Meg Mayhem is not really hidden in any way. Just ride the missiles to the Wonder Flower located on a platform somewhat after the checkpoint-flag. If you miss it, wait for the next three missiles and jump on them one by one to reach it.
Survive the Wonder Effect by riding the missiles and dodging them while they come at you.
By the end of the event, you will have to jump up the missiles one by one to get up a platform pretty high up. While on the platform, missiles will come shooting up underneath you, ride them up into the air.
To get the Wonder Seed, stand on the missile with green smoke coming out of it. The green one will make you gain enough height to reach the Wonder Seed.
High-Voltage Gautlet – Wonder Flower location
To find the Wonder Flower in High-Voltage Gauntlet, first find the checkpoint-flag. It is located high up, kind of half-hidden in the dark.
Jump up and grab the zip track that goes to the left. By the end of the zip-track, you will find the Wonder Flower hovering in the corner.
The Wonder Effect will make you invulnerable to lightning. If you walk through lightning, you glow in the dark for a few seconds, making it easier to see in the dark.
The Wonder Seed is located in the far up-right corner of the course. Ride some moving platforms, very well hidden in the dark, to reach it.
Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills – Wonder Flower location
To find the Wonder Flower in Evade the Seeker Bullet Bills, drop down a warp pipe that will take you to the bottom part of the course and a checkpoint flag. Continue for a bit to the right until you reach a bridge made out of breakable blocks. Stand on the bridge. Make the giant Seeker Bullets try and hit you, but jump away from the blast zone. Hopefully, the Seeker Bullet hits the breakable bridge and opens up a path down. Jump down to find a checkpoint and the Wonder Flower.
The Wonder Flower will make a floating ship appear. Ride the ship and dodge the incoming seeking bullets. Jump on the yellow button to shoot cannonballs. Keep shooting as much as you can and break everything in your path until you get to the Wonder Seed.
KnuckleFest Bowser’s Blazing Beats – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in KnuckleFest Bowser’s Blazing Beats is not that hard to find. Once you’ve made it through the first chamber and through the warp pipe, you can find a magic flower hovering over a platform.
Grab it and a Wonder Flower will appear.
Your character will do a very cool pose and some heavy music will start playing. This Wonder Effect is rhythm-based, but you don’t necessarily have to jump to the beat this time, just avoid the blazing knuckles that punches to the beat.
Just follow the path to the right and then at the end, jump up a few platforms to reach the Wonder Seed locked inside a cage. Wait for the knuckles to break the cage and the Wonder Seed will be yours.
