This is where to find all the Wonder Flowers in Super Mario Bros Wonder
The main objective of Super Mario Bros Wonder is to collect Wonder Seeds. The Wonder Seeds are used to unlock new challenges throughout the game and can be found on pretty much every level of the game.
Some of these Wonder Seeds can only be obtained through certain events called Wonder Effects that are triggered by finding Wonder Flowers. The Wonder Effect can change the gameplay mechanics of the game in many different ways. The only way to cancel the Wonder Effect is to either fail the event or find and collect the Wonder Seed.
In this guide, we list all the Wonder Flowers with their associated Wonder Seed and where to find them. This is NOT a guide on all the Wonder Seeds, only the Wonder Seeds that are found through Wonder Flowers. Be aware of spoilers.

Sproings in the Twilight Forest
Welcome to The Flower Kingdom – Wonder Flower location
The first Wonder Flower of the game is also the easiest to find in the game. It is located on the first course of the game called Welcome to the Flower Kingdom.
You will find the Wonder Flower about halfway through the course by picking up a small blue magic flower.
The flower will spawn some green warp pipes and the Wonder Flower in the middle of them. Pick up the Wonder Flower to start the Wonder Effect.
The Wonder Effect will cause the sky to turn dark and the warp pipes will come to life, moving around. Use the Warp Pipes movements to your advantage and collect hard-to-reach items.
The Wonder Seed can be found by the end of the course within the Wonder Effect-event.
Piranha Plants on Parade – Wonder Flower location
The second level of the game is called Piranha Plants on Parade.
The Wonder Flower can be found just past the checkpoint-flag moving around between some green warp pipes.
The Wonder Effect will cause the Piranha Plats to sing and dance. Just keep moving to the right and the Wonder Seed will spawn by the time the song (or show maybe would be more accurate?) is over.
Scram Scadadlers – Wonder Flower location
Scram Scadadlers introduces a new enemy to the franchise: Scadadlers. They run away from you while shooting (what looks like) seeds on you.
The Wonder Flower on this level is held by a Scadadler. You can see the flower hovering above the Scadadler. Chase down the Scadadler to get the Wonder Flower.
The Wonder Flower will start a Wonder Effect with shooting stars. This event is timed. If the timer runs out you will fail the event. Collect the shooting stars to gain more time.
Keep moving right until you see a Scadadler holding a Wonder Seed. Once again you need to chase down the Scadadler and defeat it to gain the Wonder Seed.
Bulrush Coming Through – Wonder Flower location
Bulrushes are new enemies to the franchise that will charge at you when they spot you. You can use this to your advantage by making them rush through fragile blocks or enemies. You can also ride on top of them by standing on their back.
The Wonder Flower on this level is found inside a group of floating brick-like blocks. You can locate the flower by the blue glow radiating from the blocks. If you continue to the right you will encounter a Bulrush. Make him run towards you so that he is facing left and then dodge him when he comes towards you. If executed correctly he will run up a ramp, launching himself into the air, breaking the blocks in the process, and unveiling the Wonder Flower.
A flock of charging Bulrushes are coming towards you. Jump up on their back and ride them to the Wonder Seed. Beware though, this event is timed.
This Wonder Effect also unlocks an additional Goal Pole, granting you one additional Wonder Seed. To reach the Goal Pole, ride the Bulrushes past the Wonder Seed and you will find the Goal Pole by the end of the level. The original Goal Pole is located outside the Wonder event.
Here Comes the Hoppos – Wonder Flower location
Hoppos are creatures that work as bouncing balls. Jump on top of them or hit them with an attack to make them roll. By making them get stuck between tight spaces you can use them as trampolines to reach high places.
The Wonder Flower on this level is found near the end of the level. There is a cliff with three Hoppos, hit or jump on the Hoppo at the top to start a chain reaction, making them roll into each other.
The Hoppos will get stuck between warp pipes and collect blue magic flowers on the way. Collect all blue magic flowers in order to unlock the Wonder Flower.
The Wonder Effect will spawn more Hoppos, bouncing around, with a big Hoppo rolling down a hill. On top of the big Hoppo, you will find the Wonder Seed. Some of the Hoppos will get stuck between some gaps. Use them as trampolines to reach the top of the big Hoppo and collect the Wonder Seed.
Swamp Pipe Crawl – Wonder Flower location
In order to get the Wonder Flower in Swamp Pipe Crawl you will have to push a pair of Warp Pipes. The Warp Pipes can be located to the right after the mid-check point of the course.
First, push the bottom pipe as far to the right as you can.
Then push the top pipe over the bottom one until it locks in place to warp pipe next to it. The Wonder Flower will spawn, triggering the Wonder Effect.
Ride the crawling Warp Pipes to the Wonder Seed located at the end of the course.
Angry Spikes and Sinkin’ Pipes – Wonder Flower location
The Wonder Flower in Angry Spikes And Sinkin’ Pipes is a well-hidden one. In order to find it continue past the mid-checkpoint until you find a Power Block buried beneath a bunch of brick-blocks. To the right of the blocks you will see a magic blue flower hovering. Touch the magic blue flower and watch it turn into a blue light. The light will move underneath the course.
You will need to follow this light. To do so, stand on the tallest warp pipe and let it take you underneath the course. Do not jump off, just stand still or you will have to start over.
You, and a talking flower will fall into the depths where you will find the Wonder Flower. The Wonder Effect of this flower will make the pipes rise up. Dodge the spike-balls and survive the whole way up to get your Wonder Seed.
Rolla Koopa Derby – Wonder Flower location
In Rolla Koopa Derby you will need to find a big tree with a handle on it.
Jump and grab the handle to pull it down. A Wonder Flower will appear.
The Wonder Effect will turn the course into nighttime, and faint glowing slopes will appear near the player. You will have to make your way up the tree with the help of the nearly invisible slopes and collect 5 Wonder Tokens on your way.
Collect all 5 tokens and the Wonder Seed will appear at the top of the tree. Find your way to the top to grab it.
Bulrush Express – Wonder Flower location
This course can be very tricky. At the start of the course, you will find two Bulrushes inside a pit. Jump on their backs to get to the other side and go down the Warp Pipe. Here you will the Wonder Flower. But don’t think it is over yet.
A stampede of Bulrushes comes charging towards you. Jump up onto their backs and ride them. A tip is to stay as far up to the front as possible. Purple goo will start to rise, don’t fall off or the goo will kill you. You will need to jump off and on the Bulrushes several times though since there will be obstacles blocking your path.
Towards the end of the course, you will find a Power Block. Break it to trigger a chain reaction of explosions that will clear the path for you.
Eventually, you will get to some ledges that you can jump up on. Jump up all the ledges quickly before the Bulrushes hit you. On top, you will find the Wonder Seed.
Ooh, by the way! This course has two different Goal Poles! See those brick blocks to the right of the Wonder Seed? Break them to get to a secret Goal Pole and an additional Wonder Seed! Can’t break them in your current form? Jump in the Warp Pipe to the exit and come back another time when you can break them.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest – Wonder Flower location
If you’ve found the secret Goal Pole in Bulrush Express, you will unlock Sproings in the Twilight Forest. The foreground of this course is almost entirely dark.
The Wonder Flower can be found held by an enemy (called Sproings maybe?). Defeat the enemy to get the flower. The Wonder Effect will make you and everything else around you very tall. When you duck down, you and everything else will shrink down to normal size. Use this to your advantage and traverse the course. The Wonder Seed will be located between two big trees, but it will only appear if you duck down, so try ducking down from time to time to not miss it.
Cosmic Hoppos – Wonder Flower location
In Cosmic Hoppos, you will find the Wonder Flower very well hidden at the end of the course. First, find the Goal Pole at the very top of the course. Go back into the cave where you came from. There is a Hoppo at the very top of the cave.
Hit it or jump on the Hoppo to make it roll into a gap close to the Goal Pole. Use the Hoppo as a trampoline to make it over an edge located on the top left, above the cave entrance.
You might need to use some wall jumping to make it.
Follow the path to the left and you will find a Hoppo and a wall with a golden light radiating from it. Hit or jump on the Hoppo so that it rolls into the gap. Then hit the golden light with something.
If you are in elephant form, just jump towards it and hit it with your trunk. A Wonder Flower will appear.
This will give the Hoppo some extra bounce. Jump on it to launch yourself into space. (Yeah, thats right, space!)
Traverse through the obstacles (Flappy Bird style) without dying and you will find the Wonder Seed at the end.
Pipe-Rock Plateau Palace – Wonder Flower location
Pipe-Rock Plateau Palace is the very first boss level of the game. To find this Wonder Flower you need to pass through a grey horizontal Warp Pipe.
You will find the Wonder Flower on the other side of the bottom pipe.
The course will go a little bit haywire in true Wonder Effect-fashion, but just keep moving right and you shall find the Wonder Seed before the end of the course. Do not proceed pass the seed without picking it up or the Wonder Effect will stop and you will have to do it all over again.
