Fungi Mines can be reached once you’ve completed 12 Wonder Seeds in Petal Isles. This area contains 21 Wonder Seeds in total. This is all the Wonder Flowers in W5 – Fungi Mines:

Upshroom Downshroom – Wonder Flower location

To find the Wonder Flower in Upshroom Downshroom, first find the mid-checkpoint. Then keep going right for a bit until you see a giant glowing pumpkin. Break the pumpkin and the Wonder Flower will come out of it.

The Wonder Effect will make all pumpkins and enemies dance. Keep going right for a bit, then upwards. You will find the Wonder Seed floating in the middle of a platform.

Taily’s Toxic Pond – Wonder Flower location

In Tailys Toxic Pond, you will have to defeat three Tailys hanging from the ceiling. Once you’ve defeated all three of them, the Wonder Flower will appear.

This Wonder Effect is a bit different. This time you will have to take a timed quiz. You will choose your answer by pulling the Tailys.

To get the Flower Seed you need to answer three questions right before the time runs out.

Light-Switch Mansion – Wonder Flower location

In Light-Switch Mansion, once you’ve reached the door that will lead you to the Goal-Pole, don’t go into it. Instead, keep going right. There is an invisible platform that you can land on if you jump off the ledge by the door.

You will reach another door that takes you to the Wonder Flower.

In the Wonder Effect you will be chased by King Boo. Keep going right while jumping on the chandeliers and avoiding Boos. Survive the event and you will be rewarded with a Wonder Seed.

Beware of the Rifts – Wonder Flower location

In Beware of the Rifts, the Wonder Flower is located past the second checkpoint-flag. You will see a questionblock half-covered by a rift next to four stone blocks. Hit the question-block and the flower will pop out.

A ghost-form of your character will appear. Don’t let it get near you or you will take damage. To stun the ghost, hit the giant Power Blocks, it will give you a few seconds of head-start. Collect all 5 Flower Tokens without being caught by the ghost to make the Wonder Seed spawn.

An Uncharted Area: Wubba Ruins – Wonder Flower location

In An Uncharted Area, once past the midway checkpoint, the Wonder Flower will be located inside a question-block. If you can’t reach it by yourself, use the attacks from one of the enemies in the area. If you stand on top of the enemy right over the question-block, it will stomp right on the question-block. Make sure to jump off it before it hits or you will take damage.

To reach the Wonder Flower, swim through the goo.

The Wonder Effect will transform you into a goo-monster. While in this form you can walk on walls and ceilings and even squeeze through tight spaces.

The Wonder Flower will be hidden on the other side of a wall, to reach it, swim through the goo covering the path, and then walk on the ceiling that is located in the lower part of the screen.

Another Uncharted Area: Swaying Ruins – Wonder Flower location

In Another Uncharted Area: Swaying Ruins, you will have to make one of the spiky enemies slide down a ledge so that you can stand on top of it and open the door when it slides right underneath it. To make the ruins sway, collect the magic flowers.

You will see the Wonder Flower on the other side of the door. It is on top of a sliding enemie. Chase it down some ledges to collect it.

The Wonder Effect will spawn some bouncy blocks. Bounce your way to the right and you will see the Wonder Seed swaying back and forth. Jump on the bouncy blocks to gain momentum and reach the Wonder Seed.

A Final Uncharted Area: Poison Ruins – Wonder Flower location

The Wonder Flower in Posion Ruins is located just past the second checkpoint-flag. Use a ground-pound-attack on the little pool of goo and the flower will appear.

You will transform into a goo-monster once again. Continue to the right. When you see the Goal-Pole, don’t exit the course. Keep going along the ceiling, past the Goal-Pole. Follow the ceiling and collect the magic flowers to move the blocks out of the way until you reach a chamber.

Collect the flower in the chamber on top of a round green stone-block to start the event. The other blocks will start spinning, with what looks like to be a sun in the middle. Collect all the flowers on the stone-blocks to make the sun shrink and eventually gain a Wonder Seed.
