You can enter Castle Town once you have access to Hyrule Field. Keep in mind that certain items can only be obtained during the night in Castle Town.

The graves can only be pushed during the night as a child.

Dampes grave is only accessible as an adult.

The Royal Family’s Tomb is only accessible after you’ve played Zelda’s Lullaby in front of the tombstone.

As an adult, Malon can only be found at the ranch after you’ve obtained Epona.

Upper Zora’s River can be entered through Zora’s Domain after you’ve made King Zora move out of the way with Ruto’s Letter as a child (depending on the logic of your seed).

Death Mountain Trail as a child can only be accessed once you’ve shown Zeldas Letter to the guard in Kakariko Village, or if you can break the boulders blocking the path between Lost Woods and Goron City.

Death Mountain Crater

The upper part of Death Mountain Crater is accessible as a child, but only for a limited amount of time because of the heat.

Forest Meadow

Forest Meadow is blocked off as an adult. You either need an Ocarina + Sarias Song or Ocarina + Minuet of Forest.

Haunted Wasteland

To access the Haunted Wasteland, you will need Longshot to one of the crates on the other side of the quicksand or use Hover Boots to cross over the quicksand.

Depending on the logic of your seed, you might have to purchase a randomized item from the flying carpet-merchant.

Zora’s Domain

To enter Zoras domain as child, you will need explosives or a scale to first enter Zoras River, and then a Ocarina and Zelda’s Lullaby to enter the domain. If you only have a scale, you can enter the domain from Lake Hylia.

As an adult, you can only enter the domain with an Ocarina and Zelda’s Lullaby.

Ganons Castle Area (or just: Outside Ganons Castle) is only accessible as an adult and is in the same place as Hyrule Castle is as a child.

Mini Dungeons

Some mini-dungeons may need small keys to open doors. Where you will find these keys depends heavily on what type of logic your seed has. Therefore, keys are not listed in the requirements.

Bottom of the Well

Bottom of the Well is only accessible as a child once you’ve obtained an Ocarina and Song of Storms. You will also need Zelda’s Lullaby and explosives to find all items within the dungeon. If you don’t know all the hidden items and entrances, The Lens of Truth is strongly recommended but not required.

	Hidden chest inside wall – east	Optional: Lens of Truth	Child	When entering the main room. Follow the green bubble as he goes right. Just past the corner, when the bubble turns left, there is a hidden opening in the wall with a chest.
	Inner torture chamber – left chest	Optional: Lens of Truth	Child	When entering the inner torture chamber from main entrance you will see a chest inside a cell to your left. If you try walk up to it from the front of it, you will fall down a invisible pit. Instead enter the cell from the room outside. There is an invisible opening in the wall next to the chest.
	Inner torture chamber – right chest	–	Child	When entering the inner torture chamber from the main entrance, you will see a chest inside a cell to your right. Watch out for the invisible pits and defeat the Skulltula.
	Beamos, Fire Keeze and pits room – chest	Optional: Lens of Truth	Child	In the left corner of the room there is a chest. Watch out for the invisible pits.
	Cell with Like Like – chest	Optional: Lens of Truth	Child	Make it past the Beamos/Fire Keese room.
	Chest under debris – northeastern corner	Explosives	Child	Bomb the debris in the northeast corner of the top floor – next to the invisible Skulltula.

Ice Cavern

To enter Ice Cavern you need to be an adult, and have the following items:

Gerudo Training Grounds

Gerudo Training Grounds can only be accessed once you’ve got the Gerudo Membership Card. You also have to pay 10 rupees to enter.

Since Gerudo Training Grounds is a late-game mini-dungeon in vanilla, you will need a lot of items to clear it fully. Therefore, you might have to return to the dungeon several times to progress. The following items are needed for a full completion of the dungeon:

Inside Great Deku Tree

To access Deku Tree, you must be a child and have Kokiri Sword and Deku Shield equipped.

Crucial items to complete the dungeon: Deku Shield, Deku Stick, Slingshot.

Lord Jabu Jabus Belly

Lord Jabu Jabu’s Belly can only be entered as a child. First, you need an Ocarina and Zeldas Lullaby or a scale to access Zora’s Domain. Then you need Ruto’s Letter to have The Zora King move out of the way. Catch a fish in a bottle and feed it to Jabu Jabu to get inside.

Forest Temple

To enter the Forest Temple, you first need either Minuet of Forest or Sarias Song, and also the Hookshot/Longshot. The Forest Temple is only accessible as an adult.

	Checkboard room chest	Fairy Bow	Adult	To reach this room you first need to twist the east corridor. Reach the chest without having the roof fall down on you.
	Turning Room chest	Fairy Bow	Adult	To gain access to this room, you will have to defeat all four Poe sisters. Push the rotating walls and open the gates until you reach the chest.
	Phantom Ganon Heart Container	Fairy Bow	Adult	Defeat Phantom Ganon to get his Heart Container.

Fire Temple

The Fire Temple is located inside the Death Mountain Crater, which means that the Goron Tunic is needed to survive inside the dungeon. To complete and find all items within the dungeon, you will also need Fairy Bow, Bomb Bag, Hookshot/Longshot, Megaton Hammer, Ocarina, and Song of Time.

Water Temple

To get inside the Water Temple you must be adult and have the Hookshot or the Longshot and the Iron Boots. The Iron Boots will be removed from the requirements because they are already needed to enter the dungeon. The Water Temple is fully accessible without the Zora Tunic, but it is recommended – and sometimes needed depending on the logic of your seed.

To change the water level of the dungeon, you will need an Ocarina and Zelda’s Lullaby. See the requirements below.

To enter Shadow Temple you need:

To enter the inner part of the dungeon, you will need Hover Boots and explosives. You will also need Zelda’s Lullaby and the Fairy Bow to complete the dungeon fully. The Lens of Truth is not mandatory but will make things a lot easier since many invisible things are inside the dungeon.

Spirit Temple

The Spirit Temple is very different than the other dungeons since it is split into two parts: child section and adult section. The vanilla way to the dungeon is to be an adult and cross the Haunted Wastelands. This method requires:

• Longshot or Ocarina + Eponas Song + Epona (To cross the broken bridge)
• Gerudo Membership
• Magic + Lens of Truth

However, you can get to the Spirit Temple in Randomizer if you have an Ocarina and Requiem of Spirits (only way as child). To access the inner parts of the dungeon as an adult, you will need the Silver Gauntlets and Hookshot/Longshot or a bow.

Ganons Castle

In Randomizer, the logic of your seed determines how you access Ganons Castle. In most cases, you will need to get all medallions to enter, while in Vanilla, you only need the Shadow Medallion, Spirit Medallion, magic, and the Light Arrows. The logic of your seed also determines the number of trials you need to complete.

	Shadow Trial – Small chest at start	Longshot or: Hover boots + Ocarina + Song of Time	Adult	At the beginning of the trial, you’ll see the chest on a floating platform. You can either Longshot to it or play Song of Time to spawn time blocks and use Hover Boots.
	Shadow Trial – Big Chest – Golden Gauntlets	Fire Arrow (Optional: Longshot)	Adult	Shot the torch with Fire Arrows to spawn platforms. At the end of the room, there is a switch. The Switch will spawn a chest. If the timer runs out, the platforms will despawn, and you must use the Longshot to get to the chest.
	Water Trial – first room left chest	–	Adult	In the first room of the water trial, you will see this small chest to the left of the door leading to the next room.

	Spirit Trial – Bombchu chest	Magic meter, Spin attack or: Bombchus	Adult	Hit the switch on the other side of the bars. Try use a spin attack to hit the switch through the bars, or use a bombchu to hit the switch on the other side of the bars to open the door.
	Spirit Trial – Invisible chest	Bombchus (Optional: Lens of Truth)	Adult	Once you’ve used Bombchus to get to the other side of the bars, there is an invisible chest on the other side of the door. use Lens of Truth to see it.
